Anti-Money Laundering & Know Your Customer Policy

1. Our Commitment

Bitnova is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. We maintain a strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) program to ensure our Platform is not used for illegal purposes.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC)

We may request identity verification at any time, including but not limited to:

  • When withdrawal amounts exceed certain thresholds
  • When suspicious activity is detected on your account
  • When required by applicable law or regulation

Verification documents may include government-issued photo ID, proof of address, and source of funds documentation. Failure to provide requested documents may result in account suspension and withholding of funds.

3. Prohibited Sources of Funds

You must not deposit funds derived from:

  • Criminal activity of any kind
  • Tax evasion
  • Corruption or bribery
  • Terrorist financing
  • Any other illegal activity

4. Transaction Monitoring

We monitor all transactions for suspicious patterns including:

  • Unusually large deposits or withdrawals
  • Rapid deposits followed by immediate withdrawals with minimal play
  • Multiple accounts receiving funds from the same source
  • Use of multiple payment methods in a short period

5. Reporting Obligations

Bitnova will report suspicious transactions to relevant authorities as required by law. We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in investigations related to money laundering or other financial crimes.

6. Account Freezing & Fund Withholding

We reserve the right to freeze accounts and withhold funds if we reasonably suspect money laundering or other illegal activity. Frozen funds will only be released upon satisfactory completion of our verification process or by order of a competent authority.
